It's hard to believe that The Forge has been this successful for so long! And this success is thanks to you. Yes, you, and every Forge user out there, whether they're a player or GM. Three years is a long time for a startup like ours, and we're truly grateful that we can continue providing the best hosting experience for Foundry VTT.
We'd like to give thanks to our player base by running a fun event for the creative Forge users out there. To all our artists, GMs, and writers out there, it's time to stretch your writing muscles and show us what you can create!
Forge an adventure for The Forge
We challenge our users to write RPG-friendly content based on The Forge! Whether a short adventure, a statblock, an NPC backstory based off of The Forge, or details about an RPG shop based off our service, it's all content we'd love to see.
To enter, tweet us a link to your writing @forgevtt, and make sure to include #Forge3rd in your tweet! We encourage everyone to enter, regardless of your writing prowess. This is a celebration of community content, no matter how well-written or clumsy it is.
Users are also invited to submit their entry via posting to /r/forgevtt. Make sure to note within the title of text description of the post that the entry is for the third anniversary contest.
The contest will begin on May 15th, 2023. Entry will be closed on June 15th, 2023 at 11:59PM EDT. Make sure to get your content in before the deadline! Voting will open for each entry on June 16th, 2023, and close on June 23rd, 2023 at 5PM EDT. The winners will be announced, and contacted via their method of entry shortly after.

Deciding the Winner
This contest will feature two winners.
The first winner will be an "editor's choice", where we'll choose our favorite contest submission among us.
But we also want to take our users choice into account, so we'll also have a winner chosen by the community. Once submissions are closed, we will compile each of them into a mega-collection, and feature a poll for users to vote on. The entry with the most votes will win, unless we have already chosen that entry for our editor's choice. If this occurs, the runner up will be chosen instead.
Rewards
Of course, no contest is a contest without a prize. And this prize is sure to tantalize any Foundry VTT user.
Each of the two winners will receive a $50 gift card to The Forge. This gift card can be used toward a new or active subscription on The Forge, or toward purchasing content on our Bazaar, our marketplace for Foundry VTT content! Each winner will also receive one Bazaar package of their choice, for free. Bazaar content can be installed and used both on The Forge and on non-Forge hosted Foundry VTT instances. So no matter where you play, you can take advantage of some of the coolest RPG-focused content available.

Other Terms and Conditions
- The contest is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry, excluding employees of The Forge, and their immediate family members. Only one entry is allowed per person.
- All content created for the contest must include some writing, with a minimum of 50 words or more.
- Any entry deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these terms will be disqualified at The Forge's discretion
- Content generated by ChatGPT or similar AI models are not eligible for entry.
- Each entry must be written by the contest entrant, for the contest. The Forge reserves the right to disqualify entrants for plagarism.
- Each winner gives license to The Forge to use the content they submitted for promotional or commercial purposes.
